Information for staff

Learning Development offers a range of approaches to assist students in developing their tertiary literacy and learning skills. Some of these approaches involve working directly with students, such as UniStart, HFE100, and our Academic Development Appointment program. However, one of our key approaches to learning development is to work with staff within specific disciplinary contexts. Our faculty collaborations range from advising on assessment design and criteria, through to the collaborative design and delivery of workshops, lectures, and tutorial activities addressing specific aspects of tertiary literacy.

For an overview of Learning Development practice and planning, please refer to Planning and Practice.

For information about models of collaboration between Learning Development and faculty-based staff, please refer to Models of Collaboration.

To see the approaches and resources offered directly to students, please refer to the 'Information for Students' section of this site.
